Privacy policy

The data controller is ARKA, the operator of arka.bet. You can contact the controller and exercise your rights by writing to privacy@arka.bet.

When you request a demo, we collect the information you enter directly: first and last name, work email, telephone prefix and number and, optionally, your company website. We also receive the language from which you submit the request.

The technical infrastructure may generate basic connection and security data, such as IP address, date, time, technical identifiers and logs required to prevent abuse and maintain the service.

We process the data to respond to your request, contact you, understand your operation's needs, prepare a demonstration and manage communications prior to a possible business relationship.

We may also process information strictly required to protect the form and website, diagnose incidents, prevent fraudulent submissions and comply with legal obligations. We do not make automated decisions with legal effects or create profiles from demo requests.

The main legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request when you ask for a demo. Security and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service, while certain processing may be required to comply with legal obligations.

If we offer you marketing communications unrelated to your request in the future, we will request the relevant consent separately. You may withdraw it at any time.

We retain request data for the time required to handle it and follow up on the potential business relationship. As a general rule, it will be deleted or anonymised twelve months after the last interaction if no contractual relationship has begun.

If a relationship is formalised, the necessary data will be retained for its duration and subsequently blocked for the periods required to address legal liabilities. Security logs are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for their purpose.

We do not sell your data. It may be accessed by providers that help us host the website, operate the form, provide infrastructure, email or support services, acting under our instructions and the required contractual safeguards. We may also disclose data when legally required.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use an adequacy decision or other recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with additional measures where required.

You may request access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data, and restriction of or objection to processing, by writing to privacy@arka.bet and stating which right you wish to exercise. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.

You may also withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of previous processing and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at aepd.es if you believe we have not handled your rights correctly.

Fields marked as required are needed to process your request. If you do not provide them, we will be unable to submit it or respond. The company website is optional.

The form is intended for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect children's data through this channel.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No system is completely infallible, so we review these measures as the service evolves.

We will update this policy when the processing or applicable obligations change materially. The date shown at the beginning identifies the current version.
